Patriot Golf Course is a Military, open to the public, nine-hole golf course located in Bedford, Massachusetts.
Patriot Golf Course was originally laid out in 1952 by volunteers. It was updated by the renowned golf course architects Cornish and Silva in the late 1980s.
The best part of the PGC's layout is the small, undulating greens and the mounds & traps that protect every green. At 2,883 yards, Patriot Golf Course is a short yet demanding nine-hole layout. The course can challenge any golf ability level, as evidenced by the slope of 125 from the blue tees. Patriot is a great walking course since all greens are adjacent to the next tee, and it is a reasonably level layout.
The Patriot Golf Course is located on the grounds of the Veterans Administration Hospital in Bedford, MA. PGC is about 5 miles from Hanscom Air Force Base.
